AoC: FPS Boost [English Description]

This is a translation of my original German article.

The Method is quite old and simoe but actualy I got the idea to retry it for conan by reading this Thread in the official AoC Forum. After this I found another
one in which a batchfile was generated wich calls a patcher and then starts conan. By the reason to compile the FPS Boost tool for myself I added a launchfunction for AoC. Because I want to share it with others I set it online for download and this little Article to explain what it does. (more…)

Die Methode ist alt aber eigentlich drauf gekommen sie erneut auszuprobieren bin ich nach dem lesen von diesem Forenthread im AoC Forum anschließend habe ich dann auch diesen hier gefunden in dem eine Batch Datei erstellt wurde. Nun da ich das FPS Boost Tool lieber gerne selbst kompiliere habe ich noch direkt die Launchfunktion integriert. Da ich das ganze dann nicht nur selbst nutzen möchte sondern gerne auch anderen zur Verfügung stelle dieser kleine Post hier. (more…)

Age of Conan: Custom UI Patcher

Ok, this is my first “mod” for AoC. You actually cant call it a mod because it is a external tool which helps to keep the Mods in you AoC directory up to date. If you played WoW in the beginnings you might compare it  with an automatic TOC patcher. In AoC the versioning of mods goes one step further or backwards depending how you see it. cPing

cPing ist ein mini Tool für Windows welches ich gebastelt habe um auf manchen Events einen ständigen Ping auf Server laufen zu haben. Der default Ping ist zwar ausreichend aber eben nicht um das ganze auch, sagen wir mal, aus einer Entfernung von 3m oder mehr noch zu erkennen. Zu diesem zweck färbt cPing das Pingresultat in 5 Farbstufen von Hellgrü bis kräftig Rot. (more…)
